  • Amougou in for him

The BlueCo group that own Chelsea and Strasbourg are said to be keen on Mathis Amougou.

The 18-year-old midfielder is currently with Saint Etienne.

But contact has been made by BlueCo, according to RMC.

We have already seen Chelsea snap up young talent then loan them to their sister club – could Amougou do the same?

  • Is he Kimm-ing or not?

    Well, it appears not.

    Not to Anfield, anyway.

Joshua Kimmich had been a rumoured target for Liverpool in this transfer window to bolster Arne Slot’s side.

Kimmich’s contract at Bayern Munich expires at the end of the season.

But Sky Germany state the Reds are no longer interested – and are happy with how their squad is looking as they hold out hope on an emphatic Quadruple.

  • Garnacho’s season so far

The Manchester United winger has scored three and assisted just once for United in the Premier League this term.

His last goal was a belter against Leicester on November 10 – Ruud van Nistelrooy’s final game in interim charge.

  • Garnacho to Chelsea latest

Chelsea are weighing up an opening bid for Alejandro Garnacho as his future becomes increasingly uncertain.

The Manchester United winger is wanted by the Blues and Italian club Napoli but they are now switching their attention to Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi.

And that could pave the way for Chelsea to head the race for the Argentine who would cost around £50m.

It is believed Garnacho would prefer to remain in the Premier League too – given Chelsea an even stronger hand in the transfer market.

Chelsea have several wingers but with Mykhailo Mudryk possibly facing a lengthy suspension for testing positive for a banned substance, boss Enzo Maresca is exploring new opportunities.

And left-sided forward Christopher Nnkuku is wanted by Bayern Munich leaving further holes to be filled in wide positions.

  • Cannon bombed out

Leicester City have finally done some transfer business – but it is an outgoing.

Striker Tom Cannon has left the club after just 18 months to join Sheffield United in a £10million move.

Ireland international Cannon, 22, struggled for game time in the Championship last term and spent the first half of this season on loan at Stoke.

Come the start of next season, ironically, Cannon may end up in the Premier League if he can help the Blades to promotion – while the Foxes are at risk of relegation.

Ruud van Nistelrooy will be desperate to reinvest those funds into a new, much-needed striker to come in at the King Power.

The deal could still be revisited at the end of window if the cost comes down, but Rashford looks set to stay at his boyhood club for now.
