MOSCOW, February 23. /TASS/. A Russian delegation led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will soon go to Turkey to discuss a wide range of issues, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
“Sergey Lavrov’s schedule includes talks in Turkey and a delegation led by him will soon go there. They are to discuss a wide spectrum of issues on the international, regional, and bilateral agenda,” she told TASS.
This week, the top Russian diplomat paid a number of foreign visits. Thus, he took part in the Russian-US talks in Riyadh on February 18, and attended a Group of Twenty ministerial meeting on February 20 and 21 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Apart from that, according to Zakharova, the Russian foreign ministry plans to visit Iran in the near future.
