Iran vowed a “proportional” strike on Israel, after IDF launched direct war against Tehran in retaliation to Oct 01 attacks. Israeli Army claimed the ‘right and duty’ to respond to Oct 01 attack from Tehran and its proxies. The deadly strike killed four and dismantled several military bases in Tehran, raging the Iranian regime. Meanwhile, US at UNSC of “severe consequences” if it undertakes further aggressive acts against Israel, US personnel in Middle East. The Security Council met after Israel struck missile factories and other sites in Iran before dawn on Oct 26. Iran’s UN Ambassador Amir Saied Iravani accused Washington of being “complicit” through military support for its ally. Israel’s UN Ambassador Danon called on UNSC to impose “crippling sanctions” on Iran’s military and economic infrastructure. He described Israel’s strikes on Iran as “measured and proportionate” and said it would continue to defend itself. Earlier, Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin also warned Iran not to respond to the Israeli strikes. Middle East has been on edge since the outbreak of October 07, 2023 surprise attacks by Hamas.
