Between Monday and Wednesday this week, six Israeli soldiers were killed in incidents in the northern Gaza Strip; two women and a police officer were killed in a shooting attack near the settlement of Kedumim; and the army announced it had located a body (possibly two bodies) of an Israeli hostage in the southern Strip.
