Blinken discusses ceasefire talks with Israeli officials

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met two key Israeli officials on Monday and discussed ongoing talks toward a ceasefire deal between Israel and Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said.

National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi and Israel’s Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer confirmed in the meeting that Israel is still committed to reaching a ceasefire deal under the terms laid out by President Joe Biden on May 31.
