The President of the Norwegian Football Federation, Lise Klaveness, said on Saturday that the organization she leads “stands with the Norwegian government’s call for an immediate halt to the disproportionate attacks on innocent civilians in Gaza,” a day after Norway and Israel were drawn in the same group in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
