IDF Chief of Staff Herzl Halevi ordered that the military police’s investigation into the deaths of Sergeant Gur Kehati and the civilian Ze’ev Erlich in southern Lebanon in November be expedited. Additionally, the military police contacted Kehati’s family to ask for recordings of soldiers discussing the incident, which were first reported on by Haaretz and subsequently aired on Channel 13’s Hamakor investigative news television program on Tuesday.
