IDF rescues two Israelis mobbed by Palestinians in West Bank village

Two Israelis were attacked by Palestinians in Deir Balut in the West Bank, Army Radio reported Tuesday evening.

IDF troops entered the village to rescue them. Both civilians are wounded but conscious, and details are being investigated. 

The IDF released a statement after the incident, “[We] rescued two Israeli civilians who entered Deir Balut and were attacked, most likely in a criminal incident.”

One of the Israelis received medical treatment at the scene. Both Israelis were transferred to the care of the Israel Police for further treatment.
