Iran’s Khamenei Says Country Won’t Be Bullied Into Nuclear Talks

Iran won’t be bullied into negotiations with countries that haven’t fulfilled their prior commitments, its Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Saturday, in an apparent rebuff to US overtures to start talks for a new nuclear deal.

“The insistence of certain bullying governments on negotiations isn’t aimed at resolving issues,” Khamenei said in a speech to senior government officials. “There’s no way to face forceful talk and bullying except to stand firm,” he added.
