Israel’s Military Police to Probe Assaults of Officers by Soldiers During Sde Teiman Arrests

The investigation was launched after Haaretz reported that military police personnel said they were attacked by Israeli army soldiers when they came to arrest some of them over the soldiers’ alleged sexual abuse of a Gazan detainee at the Sde Teiman detention center

The military police’s criminal investigation division opened a probe into soldiers from the Force 100 unit – responsible for guarding Palestinian prisoners at the Sde Teiman detention center – on suspicion that they assaulted officers who came to arrest 11 members of the unit after alleged abuse of a Gazan detainee there.
