Defense Minister Israel Katz will start the selection process for the new IDF Chief of Staff on Sunday, starting with interviewing potential candidates.

Candidates include Deputy Chief of Staff Maj.-Gen. Amir Baram, Defense Ministry Director-General Maj.-Gen (res) Eyal Zamir, and Maj.-Gen. Tamir Yadai.
