The best expression I can think of for what we saw Tuesday in the Knesset is “heart-rending”: The prime minister, a 75-year-old Jew who had just undergone surgery to remove his prostate, was taken from the hospital to parliament, not because of the opposition, but in fact because of a rebellious coalition partner who knew no mercy.
