Report: Iraqi militias agree to stop attacks on Israel in deal with Iraq’s government

The militias, part of the Islamic Resistance Coalition in Iraq, have also agreed to not respond to political changes in Syria post-Assad, deciding to ‘wait until Trump’s Middle East policy becomes clear, with an emphasis on Iran’

Iraq’s government has reached a deal with militias within the country to stop attacks against Israel, Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar reported on Monday. The militias are responsible for more than 100 missile and drone attacks on Israel in the past year, including a drone strike that killed two soldiers on an IDF base in northern Israel.
