Pars Oil and Gas Co. (POGC) has raised gas production from Phase 11 of the South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf, according to news service Shana’s Nov. 10 report.
A seventh well has come onstream and should reach full production capacity following the completion of acidizing operations.
POGC produced first gas from Phase 11 in 2023. Once the first platform is fully operational, output should reach 28 MMcm/d.
POGC is a subsidiary of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
