A car stops at the entrance to the street and 85-year-old Bella Shoef gets out quickly and heads home. She’s lived in Jaffa her entire life. It was in this apartment that she raised her three children, but over the past week and a half, her house is first and foremost a disaster area. She’s rushing home to see how the work being carried out by the handyman friend of the family has been progressing. He found the time and came to help out.
