New Delhi, November 11 (ANI): Days after the US Presidential elections, the US DOJ made a revelation into Trump’s assassination attempt in Butler. The Department on Nov 08 charged an Iranian citizen, 2 US nationals tapped by Tehran to allegedly assassinate Trump before presidential polls. Farhad Shakeri, 51 of Iran was charged as an asset of the Iranian regime who was planted to carry out assassination plots. Two other individuals Carlisle Rivera, also known as Pop and Jonathon Loadholt of Staten Island, were arrested by the FBI. Meanwhile, The Department of Justice has now charged Farhad Shakeri of pursing Jewish American citizens, reported The Jerusalem Post. DOJ claimed that an IRGC official offered him $500,000 for the murder of either victim, as reported by The Jerusalem Post. As per DOJ, Shakeri who is at large was tasked to targeting Israeli tourists in Sri Lanka, where Israel had issued travel warnings for Israelis. According to the United States Department of Justice, US President-elect Donald Trump was one of Iran’s targets. The 2 US Nationals were detained in connection with alleged involvement in plot to murder an American journo, a prominent critic of Iran. As per FBI, Iran targets the US & its allies in a bid to avenge the death of the then-Commander of IRGC Soleimani.
