Hezbollah’s agreeing to American involvement in implementing the cease-fire shows just how far the Iranian-backed group has fallen ■ Trump may talk the talk by threatening Hamas, but he probably does not have the means to pressure it
On its 10th day, the cease-fire between Hezbollah and Israel seems to be relatively successful, at least for now. Israel, not Hezbollah, is the one exercising great force against what it perceives as violations, or a potential for a violation of the agreement. The only time the Shi’ite terror organization initiated an aggressive operation, it made do with firing two mortar shells at an empty area on Mount Dov. The Israel Defense Forces responded with a relatively massive strike in southern Lebanon, killing a number of civilians.
